NWIGCSA Student Scholarship - $1,000

Qualifications

Must meet one of the following criteria:

• Any full time student currently enrolled in a turf-related program going into the turf industry.
  
• Any student in any field of study who has an immediate family member that is a Member of the NWIGCSA and has been in good standing  with the Chapter for a minimum of 3 years.

Applications along with a letter of recommendation from 1 employer and/or 1 advisor or teacher must be emailed to the NWIGCSA Scholarship Committee by no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Award

The NWIGCSA use a panel of non-members to select a scholarship winner based on academics, leadership and career preparation.  Winning applicants will be notified by phone/email and will be covered in the subsequent issue of Turfgrass Times.

Funding

The NWIGCSA Student Scholarship is funded by the Membership of the NWIGCSA.
